Salary: $126,610 - 215,270 per year Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related field along with over 6 years of relevant professional experience.
• Significant expertise in software development using C++.
• Proficiency in software development within a Linux environment.
• Familiarity with software and systems engineering processes, methodologies, and tools.
• An active DoD Secret clearance or higher obtained within the last two years.

Responsibilities:

• As a key team member, I’ll provide leadership and collaborate with Systems, Hardware, and Test engineers across various phases of Project Planning, Requirements Development, Design, Development, Integration, and Testing.
• I’ll be responsible for preparing design and project documentation for complex programs, adhering to established processes.
• I will analyze, design, and modify complex software systems, primarily in C++.
• I will assess software designs to pinpoint potential flaws.
• I will ensure effective communication regarding the progress and results of my function to management.
• I will implement and enhance existing processes to incorporate the most efficient new techniques available, aiming to minimize both design and product costs.
• I will provide top-tier technical leadership for my assigned design disciplines, including the selection and application of promising new technologies.
• I will maintain effective communication among engineers, management, and all participants involved in the architecture and design process.

This position requires full-time, onsite work due to the nature of the role, which will be carried out at a BAE Systems facility.
